Below are resources compiled by the Eldersburg Elementary School Math Committee. Although most of these resources can be found on the CCPS Elementary Mathematics Resource Site, we have gathered them on one page to make them more accessible to the Eldersburg school community.

Funbrain and Math Flashcards are sites offer printable addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division flashcards. Funbrain allows parents or students to create the flashcards by choosing the integer and the operation. In addition to printable flashcards, Math Flashcards also offers interactive online cards.

Math Playground is an engaging website that allows students to practice their math skills through numerous fun and challenging games.
FunBrain offers a variety of games that target many different math concepts. Many of the games allow the student to choose the operation and the difficulty, making it suitable for all grade levels.

Addition Math Magician allows teachers to specify the addend (+1, +2, etc.) or select two mixed levels to provide differentiated practice. Students are challenged to answer 20 questions in 1 minute. The site reports accuracy and provides a certificate that may be printed.

eMints is a web-link bibliography that offers more links to games, quizzes, and activities that can be used to help students learn and strengthen their addition and subtraction skills.
Multiplication and Division
Multiplication Math Magician allows teachers to specify the times table (x1, x2, etc.) or select a mixed level to provide differentiated practice. Students are challenged to answer 20 questions in 1 minute. The site reports accuracy and provides a certificate that may be printed.
Multiplication Moles simulates the Whack-a-Mole game in that students are given the product and must whack the mole holding the correct multiplication fact to produce that product.
Multiplication Madness allows students to choose the times table they wish to practice. They may also elect the drill mode where they must choose the correct answer in a multiple choice format or the test mode where they must type in the answer.
Multiplication Matho provides mixed times table practice.
Multiplication Facts Math Playground allows students to practice multiplication flashcards by entering answers and checking their answers while earning points.
Multiplication Videos is a site that offers numerous multiplication videos, including the famous School House Rock videos. These videos are effective in both increasing student interest in math and helping students learn the concepts.
Mixed Practice
MathFactCafe is a very useful site for teachers, students and parents. This link will take the user to the home page of the site. Once there, teachers or parents can choose to create their own flashcards or fact worksheets, which are categorized by grade level. The user also has the option of choosing pre-made fact sheets. These, along with answer sheets, can be printed for practice. If preferred, students can enter their answers directly onto the website by clicking the pencil icon next to the worksheet.
Math Magician Games allows students to either select an individual operation (addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division) or the Math Magic link, which allows for mixed practice. The user then decides to practice target facts or mixed facts. They have only one minute to complete 20 questions correctly.
Math Baseball allows students to opt for addition, subtraction, multiplication or division practice at different levels (easy - Super Brain).
That's a Fact allows students to select the operation and timed or untimed practice. The site provides feedback on the total number of problems correct/incorrect. The site also shows students the correct answers for facts they missed and encourages them to practice these facts then take the test again.
Cyber Challenge gives students a choice of operations and one minute to complete as many facts as possible. The site provides feedback on total number of problems correct/incorrect.
Save the Apples allows students to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication or division as they help the monkey save the apples from the hungry alligator.
Math Mayhem challenges students to quickly add, subtract, multiply or divide their way into the Hall of Fame,
McGraw-Hill Mathematics This is the student companion website to the McGraw-Hill Mathematics textbook. Click on your child's grade level for grade level appropriate math sites, online activities, math fact practice, multimedia practice of chapter concepts, and technology links to enrich math content.
The Great Martini Company allows students to practice their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts through interactive flashcards.
APlus Math allows students to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division flashcards online. The students enter their answers and are given an immediate score and feedback.
Mathflash is a card game that allows the student to choose the type of problem and difficulty level.
Houghton Mifflin Mathematics is site for students in first through sixth grade. The links in this site coincide with the chapters in the Houghton Mifflin math books. Students choose their grade level in one of three modes (test prep practice, Test Quest, and Brain Teasers). This interactive site allows students to practice a variety of problems while giving the students strategies to improve their math skills.
KidsTurnCentral allows students to practice their math facts with a timed challenge. Students can choose from addition, subtraction, multiplication, or all functions.
